Dress Dilemma

Okay,  so Muka's farewell is this upcoming Sunday. BIG DEAL  for me.
Oh wait, was that selfish of me to say??...what I meant to say was, BIG DEAL for US. Haha.
I've pictured this day for quite awhile now
so you know I gotta be dressed to the 9's. Lol. (no but really.)
And I got some dresses, but I just can't decide on which one to wear. :(
So I need some help!! Lol. And what better way to get
help or advice than through my blog right?! Lol.
I love the "I Love Lucy" style dresses. So they all are pretty much that style.
My mom and sisters couldn't pick one, so now, I'm turning to you guys!

This is the "little black dress with a cardigan (because it's sleeveless).

So, which do you think?
Red?...
Blue?..
Grey?..
..or Black??

Anxiously waiting for you picks!..

Weekly Gratitude

I liked an idea on another blog i follow of "Weekly Gratitude." So
I thought I'd try and post the same thing here and there of the many blessings I try and
count as they come in my life.

This week I became more grateful for...

  • Technology. Now that Muka's past his month mark of leaving for the mission, I can't help but be so grateful for being able to text or call him whenever i feel the need to. I'm really gonna miss those forms of communication. Lol.
  • Dieter F. Uchtdorf; (one of the General Authorities of the LDS church) whose talks have seemed to be the only thing to help me go to sleep ever since the reality of the days left for Muka to leave have sunk in, and sleeping seemed impossible. Lol.
  • Pero: the mormon's alternative to coffee. That has left me greatly satisfied when my "coffee cravings" kick in.
  • my nephew Nami: immediately brightens my day.

  • Pandora: whose Adele and Fiji stations automatically brighten up my days at work.
  • being an American: with the 9/11 anniversary being this past Sunday, I'm so grateful to live in a place where we don't have to live in fear (like the people do over in the middle east) and to have freedom to live and worship what we want to. I'm so grateful for all of the soldiers that fight for us.
  • Seminary: my favorite part of high school. and even though i'm not in it anymore, i continue to learn through my sister and the lessons she has. learned really cool facts about the gospel this week.
  • the power of prayer: never fails. He always listens. (:

I could list more but figure I'll wait for the next time.
It's crazy when you stop to count your blessings, how much you really have.

when it rains, it pours...soul and blues.

i'm lovin' the rainy weather this weekend in west valley (:
I love the rain.
and i find nothing more fitting to go with the rain than adele and duffy.
their music i'd say is kinda like soul/blues.
i don't really wanna go into detail how much memories and emotions come up with their albums (lol) but they'll for sure be albums i don't think i'll ever get sick of.
(Duffy's- Rockferry Album and Adele's- 19 and 21 albums)

just wanted to post some fave's that maybe some of you can enjoy on a rainy day (:

and this one next one isn't adele or duffy but i heard it when i watched Bridesmaids tonight and fell in love w/the song. PERFECT for the rain. lol.

...looks like it's gonna rain all night (;
